Which is cheaper?
For a few bags or a single item, a man and van who loads it, or a skip bag, usually costs less than a skip and a permit. For a big clear-out you will fill over several days, a skip usually costs less per cubic yard. For heavy waste on a site with room for a lorry, a grab lorry takes more weight than a skip of the same price. Where the skip must stand on the road, add the council permit: fees by council.
