About Zebra Waste Disposal Services
Zebra Waste Disposal Services is a skip hire and waste recycling business based in Fareham, part of Taurus Waste Recycling Ltd, which has been in waste since 1980 and is privately owned and run by the people who own it. The business collects skips from homes, builders and businesses across the South Coast, from Southampton to Chichester, and delivers four sizes: 3, 6, 8 and 12 yard skips, hired for up to 14 days at one price. Prices start from £291 including VAT for a 3 yard skip.
Every skip collected comes back to the licensed yard on Broadcut in Fareham, where loads are weighed, sorted and recorded. Metal, wood, hardcore, soil and cardboard are picked out for recycling. What remains becomes fuel for energy-from-waste plants. Over 95% of waste stays out of landfill. The business is a registered waste carrier with an Environment Agency permit and full public liability insurance, and every load is reported to Defra's digital waste tracking service.
Zebra also sells recycled aggregate made from waste: certified 6F2 crushed brick and block, screened soil and woodchip, delivered by tipper or collected from the yard. Builders and groundworkers open a credit account with 30 days to pay. Road permits are applied for by the business. The Fareham office is open Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 12 noon.
