About TAURUS WASTE RECYCLING LIMITED
Taurus Waste Recycling Limited is a family-run waste management and skip hire business based in Farnborough, still owned by the people who run it. The business delivers over 25,000 skips a year to homes and builders, and sorts waste at its own licensed recycling facilities. Skip sizes range from 3 to 12 yards for household, garden and building waste, and roll on/off containers from 15 to 35 yards are available for construction, demolition and large clearances. Trade tipping is welcome at the Farnborough recycling facility, and recycled materials including certified 6F2 crushed brick, screened soil and woodchip are supplied.
Taurus Waste Recycling covers Surrey, North Hampshire and East Berkshire, with a head office and recycling facility in Farnborough and a second licensed facility in Aldershot. The business was founded in 1980. Skips are delivered from the Farnborough yard by the business's own lorries, and same-day delivery is often available. When a skip needs to go on the road, the business applies to the council for the permit on the customer's behalf.
The business diverts over 95% of waste away from landfill, either to be reused as crushed brick, soil and woodchip, or turned into fuel for waste-to-energy plants. Taurus Waste Recycling is a registered waste carrier with Environment Agency permits for every site and full public liability insurance. It is a member of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management. A sister company, Zebra Waste Disposal Services, operates from Fareham on the South Coast.
