About Stevenage Skip Hire
Stevenage Skip Hire is a waste management business based in Stevenage and operating across Hertfordshire. It has traded since 2005 and was modernised in 2023 with new ownership, a refreshed fleet and tighter operations. The business provides skip hire in sizes from 4 yard to 40 yard RoRo containers, suitable for house clearances, garden refuse, builder's waste, home renovations and commercial projects.
The business covers Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth and beyond. Customers can book before 10:00 for same-day delivery. The driver waits while loads are placed in the skip if space is tight, and council permits for skips on public roads are arranged on the customer's behalf. Every load is sorted at the business's own recycling centre, with a target of zero waste to landfill. The business is a fully licensed waste carrier.
Stevenage Skip Hire has invested in electric lorries to reduce noise and emissions on its routes. The first electric lorry is running, with two more coming in October. Skip sizes range from 4 yard skips for small house clearances and garden refuse to 40 yard RoRo containers for large projects with high volumes of bulky waste.
