About Sinkfall Skip Hire & Recycling

Sinkfall Skip Hire & Recycling is a family-run waste management business based at Sinkfall Farm on the outskirts of Barrow-in-Furness. The company operates a waste transfer station where it tips, sorts and recycles all kinds of waste on a daily basis, diverting up to 97% of waste away from landfill. It hires skips in sizes from 2 yard to 40 yard roll-on roll-off models for domestic, commercial and construction projects across Barrow, Furness, South Cumbria and beyond.

The business delivers and collects skips for household clear-outs, building renovations and large-scale site clearances. Waste haulage is also offered for bulk waste including construction debris and commercial waste. A fleet of skip wagons and heavy-duty vehicles handles deliveries and collections. Skips can be kept for up to 28 days, and permits for highway placement are available. The business also supplies 100% recycled PAS100 compost, top soil, walling stone, granite kerbs, granite setts and road plainings, all processed on site from green waste collected by local councils.

Sinkfall was established over 15 years ago by director Brian Armistead. The company operates a public weighbridge, offers scrap metal merchant services, and provides bin hire and sweeper hire. Trade accounts with discounts are available for regular customers. The business covers South Cumbria and can travel further on request.
