Pinden/Pinbins Skip Hire is a family-run waste recycling business based at Pinden Quarry in Longfield, near Dartford. It hires skips in sizes from 4 to 35 cubic yards, roll on/off skips for larger commercial jobs, grab lorries and 15 cubic metre tippers for site clearance and aggregate deliveries. The business also carries out muck away, recycling and disposal, and supplies recycled aggregates to customers across Kent and South East London.
Pinden/Pinbins Skip Hire has been recycling waste from homes and businesses in Kent since 2004. The company operates a recycling facility near the M20 and M25 motorways, with mechanised sorting stations for many materials. A fully licensed asbestos landfill site is operated for asbestos waste disposal. Recycled aggregates are produced in accordance with the WRAP Quality Protocol, and all recycled materials and soils are analysed and graded by an independent UKAS accredited laboratory.
The business is family owned and operated across multiple generations. Terry and Steve Bishop are the owner Directors; Terry is a second generation family member and Steve is part of the third generation, with a fourth generation also involved in the operation. The Bishop family acquired Pinden Quarry in 2004 and formed Pinden Limited, which joined a group including the demolition company Syd Bishop & Sons Limited, originally formed in 1929.
