About Marks skip hire
Marks Skip Hire is a family-owned waste disposal and recycling business that has operated in Essex since 1993 and is part of a wider family group. Its founder had spent years clearing and disposing of waste around the markets of Essex, then bought a dustcart lorry to build a wheelie bin round, and later moved into skip hire. The company was bought by the founder's third son in 2018 and has since added an aggregates division and a cardboard recycling division. It lists domestic and commercial customers, and its website describes working towards zero waste to landfill.
Skips run from 2-yard to 12-yard sizes, covering domestic and household work through to industrial and commercial jobs, and roll-on roll-off containers from 20-yard to 50-yard suit larger jobs. Site clearance ranges from a house clearance to a large commercial site.
Aggregates are supplied from bulk bags to 20 tonne loads, including building sand, sharp sand, Type 1, topsoil, road planings and crushed hardcore, and a haulage and transport team moves machinery and building materials.
