About Collard Group Ltd
Collard Group Ltd is a family-run waste management and contracting business based in Yateley. Since 1994 it has grown to handle construction projects, recycling and waste management across the country. The business produces recycled aggregates and ready mix concrete from demolition waste, driven by a zero-waste-to-landfill commitment.
Skip hire is available in four sizes: 4-yard, 6-yard, 8-yard and 12-yard skips. The business accepts general waste, recyclable waste, broken furniture, scrap metals, garden waste and soil. Grab hire with a caged van is offered for multi-site collection and public space maintenance. For domestic customers, Collard assists with obtaining permits for public land placement and positions skips on driveways. Commercial services include regular collection schedules and secure enclosed skips for sensitive waste.
Collard Group covers Hook and surrounding areas. The business also provides demolition, earthworks, asbestos removal, lead paint remediation, environmental cleaning and pigeon guano removal. Remediation services address contaminated land including asbestos in soils, with investigative soil sampling and independent monitoring to verify safety. Recent projects include demolition at Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot, earthworks at Harwell Campus in Didcot, and remediation at Chandlers Ford near Southampton.
The business has 450 staff and processes one million tonnes of waste annually, diverting 98 per cent from landfill. Robert Collard is the founder and has served as regional Chair of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors.
