BSH Recycling, based in Bourne, is a waste management business formed in 2002 by Chris Seggie and his father Norman. The business has grown from a single vehicle to operate a fleet of 35 vehicles across two sites in Bourne, Lincolnshire and Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, employing over 60 people. It provides skip hire, grab hire, commercial waste collections, muck away and waste tipping to domestic and commercial customers throughout the East Midlands.
The fleet includes 18 tonne and 12 tonne skip lorries delivering skips from 2 to 16 cubic yards, 3.5 tonne transit skip vans for tight access locations, 32 tonne roll-on-roll-off lorries for skips up to 40 cubic yards, a 32 tonne grab lorry with a 6 metre reach for inert material, 32 tonne tipper lorries, a 32 tonne refuse lorry for commercial bins from 240 litres to 1100 litres, and support vans. BSH Recycling is a registered waste transfer station and diverts waste to Refuse Derived Fuel or Solid Recovered Fuel rather than landfill, achieving landfill diversion rates up to 99.9 per cent.
