About Boswell Bros
Boswell Bros is a family-run building materials and waste management business based in Ford on the outskirts of Salisbury. Founded in 1932 by Ken and Ernest Boswell, who began selling firewood and logs, the business expanded into sand and gravels, and later breeze and concrete blocks. The company was fully incorporated in 1942. In 1976, Eddie and John Boswell took over from the founders. The business now operates a DIY and hard landscaping yard stocking slabs, bricks, blocks, fencing and pre-packed materials, alongside a waste transfer station.
Boswell Bros supplies building materials to trade and retail customers for garden projects and building work. The waste management division operates in recycling in the Salisbury area. Services listed include chain lift skips, hook loader skips and roll on off skips for waste collection. The business also carries out surface and hard landscaping work such as driveway resurfacing, garden formation and patio laying.
In 2010, Eddie and Sue Boswell retired and handed the company to their sons Edward and James Boswell. The new directors have invested in new plant, equipment and vehicles. The business covers Salisbury and the surrounding area.
