About Barnes Skips & Recycling
Barnes Skips & Recycling is a family-owned waste removal business operating from sites in Lichfield and Tamworth. It hires skips and grab lorries to households, private companies, large corporations and local authorities across Lichfield, Tamworth and surrounding areas. Skip sizes range from 2 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards, and a grab lorry with an 8-wheel 32-tonne capacity is available for inert waste and mixed wastes, with a crane reach of approximately 4.5 metres from the curb.
The business is a registered waste carrier and operates two fully licensed waste transfer sites. Skips are supplied for small house and garden projects, bathroom and room refits, garage clearances, building projects and house clearances. A van collection service is also offered. Waste is disposed of in an environmentally responsible way, achieving a high recycling rate on most waste streams. The Tamworth site is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 12pm.
