About A Brunton Waste
A Brunton Waste is a family-run waste management business based in Scarborough, operating across East and North Yorkshire. The business has traded for over 60 years and handles domestic and commercial waste removal, skip hire, wheelie bins, industrial waste, scrap metal recycling and event waste collection. Services include mini skips and large roll-on-roll-off containers, wheeled bins ranging from 120 to 1100 litres in plastic and steel, and road sweeper services for events.
The business covers Bridlington, Scarborough, Malton, Beverley and surrounding areas. A Brunton Waste operates a waste transfer station at its Boynton site, where waste is sorted and diverted away from landfill. The business reports that 68 per cent of all waste collected is recycled and 32 per cent is converted to energy. A fleet of refuse wagons and skip wagons collects waste for customers. Scrap metal is processed on site using a 40-tonne electronic weighbridge, cranes with magnets and grabs to handle ferrous and non-ferrous materials, and light vehicles to heavy machinery.
The business is run by Peter, Adam and Lee as a family concern, supported by drivers, yard operatives and office staff. A Brunton Waste is licensed by the Environment Agency and operates under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. An online booking system allows customers to arrange skip hire and collections 24 hours a day, and a customer dashboard provides access to bookings, service documentation and invoices.
