About SJL Grabs

SJL Grabs is a family-run grab hire, muck away and aggregate supply business based in Grays. It removes soil, hardcore, rubble and mixed construction waste using modern grab lorries with a 16 tonne capacity per load. The business also supplies and delivers Type 1 MOT, crushed concrete, sharp sand, decorative gravel and bulk aggregates to construction and landscaping sites. Site clearance for domestic and commercial projects is listed as a service.

SJL Grabs covers Essex, London and Kent, serving developers, contractors, groundworkers, landscapers and homeowners. The grab cranes allow aggregates to be placed exactly where required, reducing manual labour. The business operates as a fully licensed waste carrier and handles all materials responsibly. Grab lorry hire offers an alternative to traditional skip hire, as the vehicle remains on the public highway while loading.

The trade has been part of the family for over 20 years. The business was founded to provide dependable grab hire and waste removal services. Same-day or next-day availability is offered subject to schedule. RAMS documentation is available upon request for commercial projects.
