About Man and van herts

Man and Van Herts is a removal and delivery business based in Stevenage, covering all of Hertfordshire. It carries out collections, deliveries, light removals, house clearances and store pick-ups for single items, partial loads and full loads. The business moves furniture from online marketplaces such as Facebook, Freecycle and eBay, picks up new furniture from stores including Ikea and B&Q, and removes garden rubbish and waste.

Jobs range from moving the contents of a bedsit or flat to large house clearances. A Luton van with extra height allows more items to fit in one trip. Rubbish is disposed of in an environmentally sound manner, though house clearances usually incur an extra charge due to local authority waste disposal fees. The business offers single, return or multiple trips, and a second or third person is available on request. Prices are based on hourly charges and distance travelled, and advance bookings are taken for moves planned weeks, months or years ahead.

Man and Van Herts is certified by the Environment Agency to carry waste and holds public and employer's liability insurance up to one million pounds, plus goods in transit insurance. Free quotations are provided for all kinds of removals and deliveries.
