About LB Clearances
LB Clearances is a family-run clearance business based in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire, founded in 2022 and working across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London and Bedfordshire. It holds a waste carrier licence and offers clearance, logistics and storage.
The work covers full property and estate clearances, from a single room to a whole house, as well as the removal of single bulky items. Valuations are available for antiques, furniture and collectibles, and items can be taken to auction on a customer's behalf. The business also provides collection, transport and delivery, storage for belongings, and overseas moves, including packing, shipping and delivery. Waste removal covers items beyond reuse or donation.
Everything collected is sorted. Metals go for scrap, usable items go to charity, and the tip is a last resort. The business has supported local charities since it began, raising almost £7,000 so far, and invites organisations to partner with it on charitable initiatives. The owner came to clearances after a masters degree and a few years in construction, and describes it as a trade combining an interest in history and antiques with practical hard graft.
