About Get Clear Space

Get Clear Space is a family-run house clearance business based in Woodley, Stockport, run by husband and wife Matt and Lauren, who between them have years of experience in property clearance, waste management and customer service. It covers Stockport, Manchester, Tameside, Oldham and Cheshire East, and the SK postcode area.

The services include full and partial house clearances, bereavement and probate clearances, hoarder clearances, end of tenancy clearances, loft, basement and garage clearances, office clearances, and rubbish removal, including bulky items such as sofas and mattresses, builders' rubble and standard household waste. Customers include homeowners, solicitors, estate agents, funeral directors, landlords, companies, councils and trades.

The business says it sorts everything responsibly, recycling and donating where possible. Usable furniture and household goods go to local charities, and only genuine waste is sent for disposal. For probate work, Get Clear Space also provides room-by-room inventories and written valuation reports, and works alongside solicitors and estate agents to prepare properties for sale.
