About Fletchers Waste Management

Fletchers Waste Management is a family-run skip hire business based in Sheffield, delivering skips in the city since 1982. It serves domestic and commercial customers across South Yorkshire and the Chesterfield area, and describes itself as having 40 years of experience in waste management.

Skip sizes include 4, 6 and 8 yard skips, suited to small home improvements, garden projects and domestic clearances. Customers can book online by entering a postcode to see a quote. If a skip needs to go on the road, the business arranges the council permit and passes on only the permit cost. It also provides commercial bin hire and can collect commercial and industrial waste, including hazardous waste such as asbestos and electrical and electronic items.

Recycling is a focus of the business. Fletchers says over 98% of its skip waste is recycled at its facility in Sheffield. It also processes mattresses by shredding them, separating the springs and sending the fabric to be recycled for horse manèges. Its drivers use PDAs for paperless transactions.
