About Central Waste

Central Waste is a family-run waste management company based in Liverpool, serving businesses across Merseyside since 1977. It collects general waste, food waste, glass, cardboard, plastics and oils from commercial premises, and provides recycling, jet washing and emergency clearance services. The business works with event management companies, facilities management, schools, universities, retail, supermarkets, hospitality, leisure and healthcare sectors.

Central Waste offers weekly, fortnightly and one-off collections across Merseyside, with a seven-day service. Front end loader bin hire is available for businesses generating high volumes of waste. Waste oil collection includes free containers. WEEE recycling handles electronic waste safely. Food waste collection services help businesses comply with new legislation taking effect in March 2025, which requires separation of food waste from businesses producing over 5kg weekly. The business processes 76,000 tonnes of recyclable waste yearly and diverts waste from landfills through composting and recycling facilities.

Central Waste is a licensed waste carrier and ISO 9001 certified. For events, the company provides pre-event planning, waste segregation into clearly marked bins, and rapid-response emergency skips and Roll On Roll Off services. Post-event data reporting shows metrics on waste recycled, reused and recovered.
