About Bithells Waste Management Ltd
Bithells Waste Management is a family-run waste management and recycling business based in Wigan. It has been trading for over 50 years and handles builders waste, dry waste and special waste for domestic, industrial and commercial customers across the North West. The business offers skip hire in four sizes: mini skips holding 25 to 30 bin bags, midi skips holding 30 to 40 bin bags, maxi skips holding 60 to 80 bin bags, and commercial skips. It also provides scrap metal collection.
The company was founded by Elaine and Arthur Bithell over 50 years ago as E & A Metals. In 1999, their eldest daughter Louise became Managing Director and the business was renamed Bithells Waste Management. Elaine and Arthur remain involved. Emma Bithell-Smith, the youngest daughter, is Transport Manager responsible for operator compliance and health and safety. David Unsworth manages the fleet and driver logistics as Operations Manager, and Kelly Levene oversees administration and major contracts as Office Manager.
Bithells Waste Management serves Wigan and surrounding areas for domestic customers and operates throughout the North West for commercial clients. The business is involved in local charities and community groups.
