About Bishop Skip Hire Ltd
Bishop Skip Hire Ltd is a family-run waste management business in Hemel Hempstead, owned by brother and sister David J Bishop and Vivien Hutchins. The business hires skips and roro containers for household rubbish, garden waste, builders' waste and general clearance. It also operates a transfer station where waste is sorted and processed.
Bishop Skip Hire has traded for over 30 years and operates a large fleet of modern vehicles. The business covers Herts, Beds and Bucks. Waste collected is taken to licensed tips selected for their environmental practices. Recycling is prioritised, with the business aiming to keep recycling rates above 90 per cent through a combination of equipment and manual sorting at the transfer station. Once sorted, waste is transferred to Environment Agency recommended sites. All drivers are CPC trained. The business has invested over 1,000,000 pounds in recent years in modern equipment and vehicles.
