The business operates a fleet of modern 32 tonne grab lorries, each capable of carrying up to 16 tonnes of construction waste. Services include grab lorry hire for bulk waste disposal by the load or per day, hooklift roro bin skip hire for inert or mixed general waste, and muck-away tipper hire using eight-wheel lorries. The business also provides plant hire, site clearance, demolition, groundworks, landscaping and land remediation. Materials supply includes aggregates, sub-base materials and topsoil, all delivered direct to site.

A1 Grab Hire covers London and the Home Counties from its base close to the M4, M40 and M25 motorways, serving small domestic self-builders through to large construction and utility companies. The Director's family has over 40 years' experience in waste disposal, waste recycling and bulk haulage industries. Each grab lorry comes with a skilled driver. The fleet consists of modern low emission Euro 6 vehicles. The business is fully licensed by the Environment Agency and holds public liability insurance. Drivers undergo an extensive induction procedure and regular in-house training covering safe operation of grab lorries, vehicle maintenance, tachograph and working time regulations, and site-specific safety.
